Fender Squier Pro Tone "fat strat"The Pro Tone series of guitars were a new line of various guitars introducedby Fender as Fender Squiers in 1996. They were only made until 1998, and Fender realised that they were selling so well that their Mexican guitar sales werebeing reduced considerably - so they stopped production of the Pro Tones.This great looking strat has the "Fat" body in black with stunning black pearl pickguard and all gold hardware. It has two single coil pickups with an open humbucker at the bridge plus a five-way pickup switch with volume and tone controls. The tremolo bridge/tailpiecehas the locking Floyd Rose licensed system and also a locking nut to go with it.The neck is maple as is the fingerboard which contains twenty-two frets and theblack fronted headstock has the "Squier stratocaster by Fender'' name plus the ''Pro Tone Series'' name too.This is a fabulous guitar in every way and is virtually unmarked.
