Even the frets are original on this really nice, virtually unfaded example.Nice fat sounding 60's original Tele pickups with lots of bite that do not sound shrill as some can. It has a few dings and dongs here and there, mainly on the edges as you can see by the pictures but overall it is a really nice custom colour Tele that has aged well and the CAR finish has not faded too much either. This again is something you do not see all the time.Action is great on original frets and very playable. Nice medium C shape neck and weight is a pleasant 3.5Kg.Neck lacquer is unfaded and body has only slight fade as you can see by the pics with the pickguard removed. Pickguard is the pearled back type as you would expect, all pots date to 1966 which is normal, there is a mix of cloth and plastic covered wiring and all solder joints appear intact and un broken.A very cool piece that just looks so classy don't you think..?
