I am not the original owner. The description from the elderly gentleman that I purchased this from is as follows. He seems to recall that this was a special/limited edition of some kind made by Gibson, post Norlin in 1987. All chrome hardware with special pickups as shown. I have been told that the bridge pickup appears to be a Shaw but no stamp on the neck pickup. Unofficial approximate readings are 7.54 bridge and 7.14 neck. The knobs are the top hat type, not the speed knobs that you usually see. The guitar has had a recent set up (10's) and inspection, neck straight, solder joints untouched and original. Pots clean and functioning well, lots of fret life left. The guitar plays fine and gives you all the tones that you expect from a Paul equipped like this one is. Cosmetically, it has the usual light surface swirls and a few tiny dents but nothing through the paint and very minor in my opinion. I have replaced one of the knobs with a matching replacement as it was loose but i forgot which one it was. I will include the original if I can find it. Otherwise, i believe this guitar to be all original and is something special. The guitar comes with the chain saw case that it came in, solid and all hinges are fine but the Gibson label fell off and I do not have it. I am only selling because I will be moving overseas soon.
