Serial Number: JT16062219This is a demo model Gretsch guitar that is currently on display in the world renowned Gretschworld showroom at Cream City Music. The guitar is in nearly mint condition but does show evidence of being carefully handled and played a few times in our showroom. The guitar will ship as shown with full warranty and all the original factory documentation and packaging. We are authorized to give a great deal on our demo model Gretsch guitars! This is a very cool special edition G6134T Penguin model with TV Jones Classic pickups and the new Cadillac Green. The newest version of this classic finish is the coolest yet and is more accurate to the original color. It's a deep green with very fine metallic flake and a hint of silver. Those who know their Gretsch history recognize the Cadillac Green finish combined with gold hardware as one of the hallmarks of the Brooklyn era 1950’s both with guitars and drums. It's a stunning finish with very unique reflective qualities that looks very dramatic in person!This Penguin is essentially a 1959 style Duo Jet done with the Falcon trim package. The Penguin can be considered a solid body guitar because it's constructed of a solid mahogany back, but due to a heavily chambered body and a 3 ply maple top the guitar retains some of the hollow body tone Gretsch guitars are famous for. Additionally the heavily chambered design makes the guitar very lightweight and well balanced. The voice of the guitar is clear and true with tight bass response and crystal clear treble. The humbucking TV Jones Classic pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well! The guitar is well suited for a multitude of playing styles from jazz to blues and rock & roll. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes as shown in the photo's with the deluxe Gretsch hard case, and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty.
