c.1966 Fender Mustang and 1965 Fender Champ.: What a great find!!! You are looking at a totally original and stock first run Fender Mustang guitar with the matching 1965 Fender Blackface Champ amplifier.The presentation includes the original Fender booklet and leather strap purchased with the guitar.The switches work properly,including the pickup sliders that help deliver 8 tonal possibilities.The evidence of very early production include the oval shaped tuning knobs and the size of the headstock and Pat.# decal.Included in the sale is the original case and a replacement bridge cover and whammy bar. The guitar shows several small dings, dents and chips and some wear on the back of the neck but frets show just a hint of wear. The amp is the highly sought after Fender Blackface Champ.This amp is as good as it gets .It is loaded with RCA tubes in the rectifier and power section along with a Mullard for the preamp.The amp currently has a modern Fender Champ speaker installed,but comes with the working JENSEN from '65 (put away to maintain it's excellent condition).A modern Fender fitted cover is also included.PLEASE look at the pictures....this is a terrific piece of Fender history that still sounds incredible!!!!!
