• Body is Honduras Mahogany. It makes powerful Low-mid range and the maple top makes very well compressed high range. • 5pc Maple/Bubinga neck has insane stability. It keeps neck straight very well. • In all Ibanez guitars, Only RG9670, 9570, 8570, 8520, JCRG 1-5 and very few models are made of Honduras Mahogany. • Ibanez used Honduras Mahogany only 2001-2002 J custom models. Also this model was realesed only in Japan with very limited numbers and this beautiful VV (Vintage Violin) color with awesome AAAAA Flame maple is specially rare and very hard to find. - About the Honduras Mahogany - • The body is Honduras Mahogany. As you know the Honduras Mahogany is the only REAL Mahogany. It has the finest rich sound, long sustains, greasy tones and powerful middlge range. • The wood 'Mahogany' is very commonly used in electric guitars because of its greasy middle & heavy low tone. • However, most of the Mahoganies are not Mahogany. In fact, they are Khaya, Afzelia (usually called African Mahogany) or Sapeli (called normal Mahogany). They are just substitues of the Real Mahogany which has been prohibitied from logging many decades ago. The only real Mahogany is species of Swietenia, part of Meliaceae. • Only Cuban, Brazilian and Honduran Macrophllas Mahoganies are real Mahogany which is THE ONLY REAL Mahogany. ( Cuban and Brazilian is unable to get now for instruments.) • Khaya is part of Meliaceae but it's not species of Swietnia. Afzilia is not species of Swietnia and even not part of Meliaceae but in part of Fabaceae. So Spapeli (so called normal Mahogany) and Afzilia (so called African Mahogany) has nothing to do with Mahogany. They are substitues of Honduras Mahogany because of prohibiting of logging Honduras Mahogany. • Because of their expensive price and scarcity, Ibanez used Honduras Mahogany only in 2001-2002 J.custom Models. • The Honduras mahogany is totally different from other 'so called' mahoganies. It has long sustains, rich tones, powerful middle range, greasy and very well balanced sound. As you know Mahogany makes great powerful sound especially at Low & Middle range. So the Maple top (which has bright sound) is the best match for Mahogany body. • RG8570 has all of them with the best materials - Honduras Mahogany back (powerful middle range) + AAAAA Flame Maple Top (Bright high range) They are making perfect sound. Just play it and and you must feel it. • Mahogany back with maple top is commonly used in Gibson Les Pauls. RG8570 makes long sustain, powerful middle sound like Gibson Les Paul, but it's basically has beautiful sound of Ibanez. • This RG8570vv was specially ordered model bu ikebe music, one of the biggest retailer in Japan.
• It's made of custom ordered spec - Gold hardwares, white pickups, AAAAA Flame maple top. •It was released very limited number and made by master builders with the best quality.
• Made very limited number with the best quality woods.
• Serial number starts with '1C' - '1' means 2001 and 'C'means custom ordered.

• Hardwares were changed to new one recently, so they are super clean!!
