Hi guys, I'm trying to pay off some debt so I'm biting the bullet and selling some of my "keepers." This one is a 2003 Gibson Custom Shop '57 Reissue, Music Machine Stinger. It was refinished by the Gibson Custom Shop in 2011 (original COA and refin documentation included). This one is a '57 in name only. It was originally a transparent red color that showed the wood grain, and now it's the burst color you see. I wasn't the one who ordered the refin, but I can tell you it is a stunningly beautiful result. The neck is more similar to a '60 than a '57. I've added Uncle Lou's tuned tips, swapped out the pickups for Throbak MT-102s (Mick Taylor clones), and added a Martin Six String Custom Holy Grail Harness including real 50s bumblebees. It's pictured with some reflector knkbs, but happy to include the originals. Excellent condition, no significant blemishes to speak of. The guitar plays and sounds INCREDIBLE. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard + dark back + stinger + beautiful burst + very comfortable neck = one amazing and very unique Les Paul. Weight = 9 lbs Neck = .85 at 1st fret, .925 at 12th fret Also, nut is an original Gibson nylon nut from the 50s.
