While the original had a hollow Reso-Glass body, the Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe features a tone chambered mahogany body for a bit smoother tone. The classic aesthetic is still there with a slightly enlarged headstock and beefy block inlays. The Eastwood Airline 2P Deluxe is loaded with Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers for noise-free operation. Don 't let the name fool you though, these pickups are bright and brash with an almost single-coil character that has plenty of punch and sparkle. Producing a unique tone, the Airline 2P Deluxe is woody and charismatic with plenty of resonance and sustain and an almost hollow personality to the sound.
