Up for sale is this unloaded Fender Masterbuilt Stratocaster ash body. It is a Yuriy Shishkov build from 2004. Please note: this listing is for the unloaded body only. It does not include the bridge, tremolo block, back plate, pick guard, pick ups, pots, neck, or anything else. It's just the body, strap buttons, and input jack unloaded. I am parting out my 1954 Fender masterbuilt Stratocaster. Please see my other listings for the neck, pick guard and pick ups, back plate, and bridge. I have included some other pictures of the other parts of this guitar in this listing so as to assure you of its authenticity. Note that the neck pick up cavity has the initials "YS" as is appropriate for a masterbuilt. This body is guaranteed to be a 100% original Fender masterbuilt stratocaster body. This two tone sunburst ash body is as close as you will get to the original. I own a genuine early 1956, and I am amazed at how closely they captured the original details on these guitars. Everything from the burst pattern, grain pattern, as well as the unique contours of the early straps are evident on this body. Overall, the body is in good condition, although it has received what looks like a custom heavy relic treatment. The finish shows checking throughout, and appears to have been lightly sanded for an aged appearance. It's also been given its share of dings and other relic wear, observable in all the pictures. Most of the finish on the bottom edge of the body has worn away, and there's a few other larger places along the edges. Looks like the original owner replace the vintage style strap buttons with a more modern style. Now is your chance to get a very high-quality piece of tone wood for the ultimate project guitar.
