Plenty of detailed pics below!!BUILT BETWEEN 1996/97, IN JAPAN, in the FUJIGEN GAKKI Plant. Made In Japan and Serial number V 008208 printed on the BACK OF THE NECK ABOVE THE HEEL. Classic SUNBURST, Sinngle Ply, 8 hole Scratchplate, Naturally aged creamy Pick up Covers and Dials, Fender 50th anniversary Logo on the Reverse of the Headstock. (The Guitar DOES NOT Come with the whammy bar.)A Whammy Bar can be found on ebay for a few pounds.Quite often they have the pickups changed and the switch or pots replaced .. But this one is TOTALLY Original.This is one of the last of the '57s before they were replaced. This strat has alnico V staggered pole pickups with magnetic pole pieces which give that articulate Fender top end that we all love. They were replaced with ceramic pups with bevelled chrome pole pieces which were not 50's esque at all! This Guitar has the correct 3 x single pup routing, single ply scratchplate, creamy aged dials and Kluson style vintage tuners. These are the strats that threatened the USA strat market in the 90's and were followed by a cheaper inferior guitar to make the differentiation more apparent. Guitars made to these Specs were also blowing the up and coming Mexican strats too. Fugi Gen had made arguably some of the best strats that Fender ever put their name to and this guitar plays every bit as well as many USA standards that we have had in the store.This Guitar also has the Vintage style 3 single pickup routing and a Trem/ Bridge with Fender Stamped saddles and cast Fat Block Trem.The Neck is a One piece maple with skunk stripe and is described as a C shaped like the modern strats but still pretty slim. I find it really comfortable and super smooth. NOW TO OVERALL CONDITION:Please look at these Hi Def images... this guitar is in good order throughout but it has been played and lightly Gigged. They are close ups and show you everything that we have just talked about .....This 19/20 year old Strat may have been played but it has acquired the cool looks and character that only playing and gigging can. You could say its naturally Relic'dWe Never hide anything from you!! .......Gotta love that!)<> Overall Condition: There are virtually no signs of string marks on the fret wires and absolutely No wear to the fretboard.  This is an opportunity to acquire a 19/20 year old moment in History, with exceptional build quality, Authentic Good Looks and character, Lovely feel, playability and above all Authentique Fender tone. A warm neck pup tone and a well rounded bridge pup. Not too"shrill" on the high notes but clean , crisp and articulate even with a bit of overdrive. Not "muddy" as some pups can be with OD.
