Up for sale I have a pristine P24 (custom 24 w/piezo) semi hollow body with a single F hole in a McCarty Burst high gloss nitro finish that is absolutely amazing to see in person. It has the coveted 53/10 pickups with gold covers. You will probably never see another set of those pickups anywhere. I bought this guitar for myself about a year ago now. It has spent all of that time either at PRS or in its case. The person I bought it from was a collector and never actually played the guitar. Thus, there is no wear on it aside from maybe the hour of playing I have done with it in my home, so really nothing. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. It truly sounds and looks amazing. By far the most versatile PRS I have ever owned and this will be my 20th. Though it is my first private stock. I'll tell you what, when I opened that case for the first time, it was like magic was coming out of the case. I don't know how else to describe it. It's rare that things look better in real life then they do in photos and advertisements especially with phoyoshop and all that fancy stuff that is far beyond my computer skills. This guitar looks so beautiful in person it is beyond words. It was featured at the 2013 PRS Experience as one of their greatest achievements and used in advertisements. The ply maple and mahogany neck is one of a kind and from what they have told me, they will not be making another like it. The neck feels amazing. I would say it feels better then the Brazilian rosewood neck on my modern eagle I. I don't think they could have picked a better finish for the figure of this maple. It is just amazing how the McCarty Burst makes the grain pop. It will definatly blow any Gibson Historics AAAA+ away. I can promise you that. I of course have the COA, and all of the case candy. It comes with the original hard shell case. The case does have a small scratch in the leather that is covered up by a PRS sticker. That is the only thing that shows any actual wear. It just got back from the PTC crew where they setup the guitar, rebuffed the finish to give it that brand spankin new guitar look. Getting rid of any oxidation on the finish. They also installed a updated piezo setup, and the newest gen of the PRS trem which is only available on private stocks. It allows you to tighten up the trem bar so that it doesn't come out or will stay in a specific spot, it also helps it stay in tune even better then the regular trem.  Please message me if you are interested in the guitar or if you have any questions.  I really hate to let this go, my father in law was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we need the extra money to help get him to a better hospital out if Alaska. So I am listing this with a modest starting bid of $5500. This guitar sold for $19,000 at the PRS experience. I got it for $8500 but also sent it to PTC and paid a lot of money to have them do their thing. Not to mention it took them 8 months to get it back to me.
