Here is a fine specimen of a 2013 GIBSON LES PAUL TRADITIONAL PRO II that has had a few enhancements added.  The Gibson pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan special color/pole pickups (SH1 P.A.F. Classic sound in front and the SH4 [JB4] high output in the rear).  The control pots that originally came in the guitar have been replaced with high quality tone and volume pots from Gibson Custom Shop and are standard control pots (all pull switching has been eliminated).  In my opinion this is more like the standard guitars of the 80's and 90's and offer more longevity and dependable service.  I have also removed the original  truss rod cover plate and put on one that has the STANDARD model indicator - since that was what I was intending to make this guitar into.  The only real visual difference in this guitar and a standard is the finish on the back of the guitar.  Where a Standard has a gloss finish on the back of the guitar body and neck, the Traditional has a satin (non-gloss) finish. Hardware is high quality Custom Shop gold finish including the Grover keystone locking tuners. The original creme switch plate (Treble/Rhythm), and pick-guard was replaced with black custom shop units and the antique gold volume/tone knobs were replaced with the black Gibson speed knobs to achieve the Tuxedo affect found on a white Gibson Custom Les Paul. The zebra Gibson classic '57 humbuckers were replaced with special order Seymour Duncan's having white bobbins and gold pole pieces.  The creme pickup mounts were replaced with gold metal pickup rings to give the guitar a more custom appearance and provide more noise shielding for the open bobbin pickups.  Guitar has been more of a show piece than a players guitar and has seen very little playing time, so there is no visible fret wear.  I have found no noticeable flaws in the finish and binding.  There are a few spots of clear nail polish where I had installed some black pin-striping on the outer edge of the body and used the clear nail polish to help with the pin-striping adhere to the binding.  Other than that the guitar is in pristine condition.  I still have most of the parts I replaced (except for the pickups - which I gave to a friend for his son's guitar).I just got my white Les Paul Custom back from the luthier who installed new frets on it and I realized that I don't need to keep both of them.  Hope someone gets this and has a very merry Christmas.  It is a great guitar - sounds and plays wonderfully.Guitar will be insured for the auction amount, shipped in the OEM Gibson case and packaged professionally.
