Made in Japan by Nippon GakkiThese are the first electric guitars Yamaha made. Very high quality, on par with the American guitars they emulated. They were made from 1966-1967. This is a '66. based on the serial number and script logo on the headstock.Excellent condition. It has some wear, but not much considering it's 50 year age. Plays fantastic. Sounds great. Very warm and big sounding guitar. These guitars came from the factory with low frets, ala Mosrite. The frets are still in good condition. All the electronics work well, and are 100% original, as is the rest of the guitar.Comes in a new hardshell case.
