Very cool Silvertone electric archtop. I’m told by the previous owner that it’s a 1949, S1348 model although I can't confirm it. My understanding is this was made as a more Deluxe Model Harmony H50 with a fancier Art Deco Headstock. It is a jumbo-bodied guitar with the lower bout measuring in at 17 inches. This guitar has had extensive work done. The back was off at one point and some crack repairs were made in the top. The rear binding is also new. The top was re-stained and significant touch up work was done to the paint. The neck has been reset. The electronics are all original on this guitar, but at one point the tuners and tailpiece were changed. Cool bakelite knobs and early model Gibson P13 pickup. The neck was refretted with brass frets. The action is set very low all the way up to the body. This is a great playing and sounding guitar. The P-13 pickup is highly sought after and once you hear it you’ll know why. All the restoration work has been done on this vintage instrument. All you need to do is play it.
