Original 2001 Fender Limited Edition Mars Music Stratocaster in Green (Teal, Turquoise) Sparkle. With matching headstock!! Plays and sounds great! Made in USA to American Standard specs. Neck feels great with low smooth action and original pickups have that characteristic spank and bell chime brightness. Comes with original Fender hard case. Fender put together a couple of limited production runs in 2001 for a large music store conglomerate that were definitely eye-catching. From one series made, this guitar is your basic American Standard Strat with two cool upgrades; a standout green sparkle finish with matching finished headstock and Texas Special pickups. The body is Alder with a Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard. Adding to the classy touch of the green sparkle finish is pearloid pickguard and back plate. Standard Fender chrome tuners and a 2001 American Standard bridge completes this package. This 2001 Fender® Mars Music Limited Green Sparkle American Std Stratocaster is a used item in VG+ condition. This guitar is really in clean shape, but it gets this grading because there is one finish chip on the back of the bottom as pictured and is on the upper bout’s horn. It is not visible from the front, but you can see the edge of it on the top of the guitar as it curves towards its back. The size is roughly ¾” by 1” and you can see the picture details. This is the only issue with this item and being on the rear of the guitar will keep this ding between you and this strat! There are no surface finish scratches on the body and no major issues or dings on the guitar. The pickups sound good and all the electronics work as they should. You will receive this item well-packed in its original Fender deluxe case with all the case candy, but not the original packaging. Please contact this seller for additional information.
