Very Rare 1966 Valco Reso-glass Cutaway Tonemaster Guitar made for English Electronics. The Tonemaster Reso-glass is different than any other Valco guitar offered by Supro, National or Airline. The guitar features two pickups- a single coil neck pickup and a built-in bridge pickup- a three way switch that allows your choice of pickups or both, and three separate volume knobs one for each pickup selection. The guitar is in excellent condition. – Please see photos. The pickups and electronics work perfectly and the three pickup sections give it great tone options. The neck is straight and the action is good. The guitar is all original with the minor exception of the tip to the pickup selector. This is one of the rarest reso-glass guitars made by Valco; made for just two years, only a handful of these guitars were produced. Valco made unique Tonemaster guitars, lap steels and amplifiers for the small Lansing, Michigan based English Electronics company during the 50’s & 60’s.
