Description
Model Year: 1990

Since I no longer play anything but my Fender Acoustic, I have reluctantly decided  to sell my Telecaster.  I acquired it from a studio engineer several years ago.  It is a Korean made (MIK) Telecaster FSR (Fender Special Run).  According to Fender the serial number indicates the guitar was built between 1988 and 1996.  It is believed to be a 1990. I have not removed the neck to check the date stamp.  The guitar has the light ash body with natural finish.  The neck is birds eye maple with abalone fret dots.  It has 22 frets and the chunky C neck with a satin finish to keep the hands from sticking.  The pick guard is a solid piece (not laminated)  and beveled. Seymour Duncan Pick ups, three position toggle, three saddle bridge  and knurled knobs.  This guitar has that sweet rich ASH tone and plays beautifully.  Aside from the usual scuffing on the pick guard, this guitar is free of blemishes.  It weighs 7 lbs. and is ready to play. It comes with an aftermarket hard shell case that is also in excellent condition.  Please do your own research.  One of the photos is a close up of the serial number.  For those not familiar with Fender's off shore business, this is a Fender Telecaster, not a Squire.  Again I encourage you to do your own research.  This is a beautiful TELI.
