Recent Neck Reset and fret dress done by Glaser Repair, here in Nashville, TN. Frets are in great shape. Waverly Tuners Plays wonderful and has the expected tonal characteristics of a good 50's Martin 00: woody, punchy, resonant. The Issues: You're likely to notice the scarring on the guitar. At some point, the original guard was removed without much care, then in its stead was installed a giant guard, a guard popular amongst Country Swing and Country players of the era. I've made no attempt to clean the residual glue and do not know what type of glue was used. In the headstock were drilled two holes to accommodate two tuning machines. Subsequently, the nut too was modified. the nut however remains correctly slotted for all 6 strings. This can be seen in photograph. That all being said, its a wonderful player. Plays like a new guitar but with the tonal benefits of an aged Martin 00.Comes with an unbranded hardshell case. If you're interested with questions, please, let me know.
