"MEAZZI SUPERSONIC"
Rare italian guitar from the early 1960s. Made around 1963/64 I guess. Meazzi is a pretty obscure brand as it disappeared long ago and drums sets (Hollywood, Jolly or President) made by Meazzi are far easier to find than guitars like this one. Meazzi also issued Danelectro copies on the italian market under the brand Dynelectron.
Rare one that can be played plugged in a amp or with batteries as there is an amp in the body of the guitar. Maybe one the first guitars of that kind. Has a sound of its own, more on the treble side if you see what I mean. Could work well as slide guitar but action is OK right now or to play in the street with NO amp! Cool, fun axe.
A very rare find for collectors in very good condition. The back of the headstock has been painted black for some reason but I don't see any crack under the paint. See pic. NO original case, not sure there ever was one but guitar will be sent packed in a soft case and packed like a tank!
