Selling my almost new 2016 Gibson SG Standard in Heritage Cherry Gloss. Bought new, replaced the cheap gig bag that comes with the guitar with an incredible custom Gator TSA SG custom case. The neck is not flat like the '61 reissue, or chunky. The profile is slim and rounded and plays extremely fast. I just had the guitar gone thru with a professional luthier. I can give details if interested. Action is low, doesn't buzz, just sounds killer. Things to note, all the pots and wiring have been newly replaced, rerouted, and grounded properly, a problem with Gibson SG's. Cost was $105. The Neck pickup is slight hotter than the bridge, which I prefer, and both sound amazing alone and together. There is buckle rash as this guitar was a professionaly set up player. It's hard or impossible to see in the picks, mostly indentations in the nitrocellulose only. Front is great. In window light it is a super dark cherry, but outdoors or with hot spotlights, the grain comes out with a beautiful orange reddish hue. Get this guitar, with this custom case for a steal.
