This Beautiful guitar was made by the Peerless factory in Korea in 2001. It is tiger striped front, back and sides and is nearly flawless in the finish. There was and is some signs of wear mainly in the gold parts. I changed the tuners which were very worn and the pickguard bracket as well. The wear is now on the bigsby and a little on the bridge. I showed the before and after on the headstock concerning the tuner change. I've saved all the original worn parts and are in the accessory compartment of the hard shell Epiphone case. The guitar plays beautifully and the intoneation is spot on. I've strung it with D'Addario flat wounds ECG023's and the tonal variations are terrific!Mellow up to screaming highs! Be careful as those P90's and hollow body will feedback if too close to the amp. I got this guitar from a professional musician in California, who I think had it customized just for him. Note the selector switch on the upper bout; usually a selector knob, and the truss rod cover with the "Memphis Special" legend. The neck is straight and the fret wear has about 70% life left. It doesn't buzz. The guitar fits very snug in the case and care must be taken when putting it back in the case. The case itself is nearly flawless and all four latches function as they should. This was an impulse buy on my part and I've been neglecting my other three since I bought this. I'm just trying to get whet I've got into it. Questions welcomed & thanks for looking.
