For sale or trade is my Myka Sungazer 7. Please note, I'm primarily after cash and if we did trade it would have to be for a guitar + cash on your end or multiple guitars. This guitar was custom built for Mehtab Bogel in 2016 and is essentially a Les Paul 7 string on steroids. Myka's reputation speaks for itself and I don't think I really need to go on and on about his luthiery experience. His order book is also closed right now to custom orders. The body and neck are both old-growth lightweight Honduran mahogany and I the body was chambered for additional resonance and attack. The top is one piece of gorgeous figured maple. It has the most astonishing top I've seen yet, which you will be able to see in the pictures below. The fretboard is ebony, as is the backplate on the headstock plus tuner buttons and knobs. Frets are stainless steel, the neck carve is a medium/thin C shape, although definitely leans a bit more towards the medium side of things. Worth noting is that the Tune-O-Matic on this guitar is recessed, so it feels more like a hipshot/fender style bridge but still has that huge thick ToM tone. The best of both worlds. :) Pickups are a Bare Knuckle VHII in the neck and a Rebel Yell in the bridge. The electronics this are also pretty cool. Both the volume and knob knobs are push pulls. Each push pull puts that pickup in parallel or series. Position 1 on the 5 way selector gives you just the neck, 2 is the neck and bridge out of phase, 3 is the neck and bridge in parallel, 4 is the neck and bridge in series and 5 is just the bridge. Condition wise, there are some mild scratches/dings that David said would come out most likely with some buffing. This guitar was $6000 but I can do $5000 on it. I am also open to trades with preference to Aristides and Ernie Ball Majesties. The guitar will come with the original hardshell case.
