Up for auction is my 2014 Gibson SG Special bass, satin finish.The bass is in as new condition and has seen little playing time.The frets are in as new condition and the bass has very little discernible playing wear and tear, open the case and it even smells new!All Gibson case candy including truss rod tool included along with a plush lined Gibson deluxe hardshell case.This version of the SG/EB3 is a lot more versatile tonewise than the more traditional one, meaning its not as much of a 'low end only, one trick pony'. The bass is perfectly usable in any band setting and is a joy to play with a rounded profile satin neck and has recently been restrung with DR Hi Beams.The finish is a beautiful satin heritage cherry.Specs from Gibson -During the height of Gibson's original "Golden Era," the company's only bass guitar at the time”the EB0”underwent the same radical transformation as the Les Pauls, which were being redesigned as the now classic SG. It was a bold move and it paid off, bringing Gibson basses to the forefront.
