| VINTAGE 1966 GIBSON SG STANDARD ELECTRIC GUITAR | | This auction is for a VINTAGE 1966 GIBSON SG ELECTRIC GUITAR. I'm selling this exactly as I found it, AS IS. I have not attempted to clean or touch up anything. This guitar does play really nicely (it does work when plugged into an amplifier). The headstock has some damage (cracked/broken) as shown in pictures - there doesn't look to be a very good repair job attempted. Someone has scratched the name "Bill Gouley" on the back of the neck. It does smell smokey. The tremolo bar is missing. It has nicks, dings, and bruises (as pictured). I also noticed a piece of the plastic on the neck is split, but still in tact - it may be able to be repaired. I see a couple of plugs in front of where the volume controls are. I'm not sure what the sockets are for next to the bridge/tremolo. This guitar has definitely been played. I am also including the travel case pictured (I don't believe it is the original case - but not positive). The case is not in that great of condition, smells of smoke, and is missing one of the closure latches. Please look at the pictures carefully, they can do a better job describing it than I can.
