Up for sale is a 1991 Ibanez USA Custom USGR12 Cosmic Swirl. This particular graphic was hand painted by Dan Lawrence and modified and assembled at the Ibanez Custom Shop in Hollywood CA. According to Dan's records, he only did 11 of these, which makes this one of the more rare and difficult to find USA Custom graphics.
These rarely come up for sale, and it's even more difficult to find one in nice shape like this. The guitar is very clean and in excellent condition for it's age, however as you would expect with a 25 year old guitar there are a few small blemishes here and there as it has been played. There are no neck pocket cracks and no crack at the locking nut. The paint is very good to excellent condition with only a few small blemishes which i tried to capture in the pictures. The neck is straight with low action and the guitar plays wonderfully. The frets look good with no indentations. The electronics look all original to me including the original Dimarzio made pickups. The original edge has a screw in type bar, which i'm not sure if that was original for this model or not. I know Ibanez bars usually pop in, but not sure if this was the case with the USGR12.
