 Ibanez Artist 2619, January 1979.
In incredible condition for a 36 year old guitar.
It has been professionally set up by LA Guitars, and the guys loved it, their words were "these are better than Les Pauls" and when you see it and play it you'll understand why. Check their reviews on the net, this  guys know what they are talking about. It's only a couple of weeks ago that they did a light stoning of the frets, as the action is very low and incredibly fast, ( just how I like it ), and a full set up to a cost of £120, but very sadly, and I mean that, it has to go.
The machine heads have been changed to good quality ones of similar style, just a bit lighter so the neck stays in place and doesn't dive, but they are not cheap Chinese ones, they are good. I didn't bother to screw them as one day some one may want to fit some original ones back on and didn't want to make extra holes on them to keep the head stock as true as possible, keeps in tune any way, but will send you the screws too in case you feel like doing so. I do not have the original ones, basically I can't find them around the house, should I have, you will be getting them too, but please don't hold your breath on that one.
 Specs are:
 Mahogany body,
 Set neck,
 Mother pearl machine heads.
 Gold hardware.
Flying fingers pick ups, Tri-sounds. ( humbucker, single coil, out of phase)
The knobs are Gibson Top Hats, she came like that to me and they suit very nicely.
One pot has been change to a correct period but is not the original.
No cracks, buzzes, clean pots, and amazing sounding and playing, welcome to have a go if you like.
 Bone and Brass nut.
 Beautiful Antique Violin finish.
Expected wear on the gold hardware like all of them after such a long life.
 No Case.
As for the condition, it has got a couple of tiny dings that you can see in the pictures and very light buckle rush, but nothing else. I'm trying to describe the guitar as well and honestly as I can.
If you read this add then you know how good and sought after this guitars are, and that they fetch about 1500 quid, in this condition and set up like this one are hard to find.
She's ready to go, you don't need to do anything to it, just make sure that you make it justice and please play it, don't hung it on the wall.
International bidders please ask for a postage quote first before you bid, I can't stress this enough.
The guitar will be well packed in a guitar box, and properly wrapped up, but if you wish to collect it you are most welcome. Cash on collection also welcome.
Any questions email and I will do my best to answer after work.
Advertise somewhere else too so I may finish the auction early.
Payment within 24 hours of auction end.
Thank you very much for looking and good luck.
