BARGAIN -RARE COLOUR- GOLD LACE SENSORS
This beautiful rare Gun Metal Blue near mint condition 1991 USA American Plus Series guitar is a Fender Icon, know as the Cadillac Strat of the nineties this was the highest end production model next to the Custom Shop Guitars, production stopped in Mid 1998 making these a sought after guitar for it's quality and sound. The Alder body is all original there are no scratches, dents, nicks or buckle rash, or any other blemishes. The neck is straight as an arrow and there is some fret wear on the first few frets treble side which does not effect playability,The polyurethane Gun Metal Blue colour is Awesome a rare Stratocaster Classic. The hardware is also in near mint condition, this one has been really looked after with little play time over its 25 years.The neck date is Jan 18 1991,pots are 1991 all original with unmolested solder joint,the neck builder is Gastellum premier builder of the 80's and 90's. The serial number is Fenders odd ones N9 which is actually a 1991 you can read all about their serial numbers on these guitars on Xhefri's guitars web site which i have included in description. The specs on this guitar are Awesome and I will list some of them for you. Alder body with Satin Polyurethane finish sporting "C" shape maple neck and beautiful Maple fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius and 22 medium Jumbo Frets. The Pickguard is 3 ply parchment as are knobs and pickup covers gives it a real 60's look. Three Gold Lace Sensor pickups eliminate hum and packs an awesome punch, and were the preferred original pickups for Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton coupled with the TBX system makes this guitar stand out, more sonic options than any normal standard Strat. The 5 position blade, Schaller Locking tuners and the famous Wilkinson roller nut keeps this baby in tune no matter what, a fantastic combination still used to this day on the Jeff Beck Signature model.
The original Fender Black Moulded case is also in Excellent condition. All the original nineties case candy,strap cable,cloth, booklets, wrenches, and tremolo arm.
This Guitar has been oiled, polished and set up with accurate intonation, truss rod adjusted and set with a low action and new D'Addario EXL110 10's to 46's strings, it sounds and looks fantastic, all you have to do is plug it in and enjoy it listed at a great price be quick and don't miss out on this one you may not see another one like it.
