What makes this guitar special:  Very rare Gibson hollow body model from the early '50s.  A serial or factory order number could not be located, so it's difficult to pinpoint the exact year of the guitar.  Very much like an ES-125, but with trapezoid fretboard inlays.  Warm, rich P-90 tone tone coupled with a woody acousticness.  Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds wonderful.Cosmetic Condition:  Quite a bit of wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear throughout the guitar.  There are some cracks around the input jack, and as a result a larger jackplate was added for strength.  The tailpiece joint has been welded & there's a crack on one side, but it's quite stable & strong.  Four of the tuner buttons have shrunk, but are not crumbling.  Overall the guitar has a well-worn look with a cool vintage vibe & beautiful patina.Neck:  Semi-chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  Original frets show quite a bit of wear, but there's still some play left in them.  Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard does show some pitting in the first few frets.  Mother of pearl trapezoid inlays give the guitar a unique look.  Open-back strip tuners are in good working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.Body:  Double-bound hollow maple body with dual F-holes.  Nickel trapeze tailpiece with raised diamond in the crossbar.  Compensated rosewood bridge with floating base.  Large tortoise plexi pickguard shows various scratches, but no cracks.  16" lower bout width; 11 1/2" upper bout width; 3 1/4" depth.  Guitar weighs 5 lbs 3.2 oz.Pickup:  Original P-90 single coil with black "dog ear" cover & non adjustable poles - 10.69K ohms.  Master volume & tone controls with clear/gold barrel knobs.  The tone knob is a bit cloudy, but all electronics are in good working condition.
Case:  Original faux alligator chipboard case included.  The case is in rough shape & is missing its handle.
