This 1976 Kramer guitar is the crown jewel and holy grail of all Kramer Guitars. It is the first one produced off of the assembly line, documented by Peter Laplaca and Dennis Beradi, both the original founders of Kramer Guitars. This guitar was in Peter Laplaca's personal collection until 2003, then in a private collection until now. Buyer of this guitar will be put in contact with Peter LaPlaca to also verify and document it as the first Kramer Guitar produced.
The history of the company is a great success story of the American Dream, from a unique idea (aluminum neck guitar) to become the #1 selling guitar in the eighty's, out selling Gibson and Fender!  From there to bankruptcy, bought in the early 90's by one of Michael Jackson's company's, that deal fell through. The company was sold in the mid ninety's to Gibson, who owns Kramer today and sells them world wide. Here is a link to the complete history of Kramer guitars.

Here is a link to an Internet radio broadcast that Peter LaPlaca did in 2003 about the company and talks about this guitar #25 as being the first off the assembly line. That segment is into the broadcast is at 1.05 in the broadcast.
Opportunity knocks only a few times for serious guitar collectors, you all know that, today you have a knock at your door. This IS THE FIRST KRAMER GUITAR PRODUCED ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE, NOT A PRO-TO-TYPE!!  How much do you think the first Gibson Les Paul or first Fender Telecaster would cost if you could buy them? I am not putting Kramer Guitars in the same category as them, but since 1976 Kramer Guitar's has been a huge part of "RocknRoll" music and history played by some of the best guitarist in the world and hundreds of thousands sold. Now Gibson Corporation is proud to own them. Here is your chance to own a true legendary guitar that will only increase in value as time passes. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
