Greco, Ibanez, and those small but ambitious Japanese guitar makers had finished analysing the prototype of the Gibson 335 series, and were just about to export their lawsuit era guitars. Yamaha, on the other hand, maybe due to its brand already well-known around the globe, were not able to join the much tempting 335 copying business. Instead, their genuine design was applied to the hockey stick-like headstock and a balancer introduced on behalf of 2x2 volume and tone knobs. Their hollow body debut was the SA5 in 1966, then followed the SA30T.This guitar is built to a crazy high standard and has been well looked after in its lifetime.Product Details Body: Original sunburst nitro finish on a 3-piece maple and beech body.
