Up for sale is an early 1970's Fender Stratocaster guitar body. Rare light 4 lb 2 oz. The finish looks refinish but if so, it is old and near Fender-quality. The main reason I think it's a refinish is the neck pocket (no paint stick). There was shielding in the routes which was removed. The finish has aged in color a little and strongly resembles white from this period due to this. Bridge pickup area was deepened slightly. Nicks, finish checking, light scratches apparent. Normal stuff. No structural issues. Not sure what color it was originally but probably sunburst or some other color that allowed for alder wood. Pots for the guitar dated 1973, neck 1973 or 1974.Shipping is $22.00. Will gladly ship international - email me. Thanks for looking!
