Up for sale this beautiful Hagstrom James D’ Aquisto (Jimmy), original made in Sweden 1976-77. Very rare and hard to find guitar, and for those who know, one of the best jazz guitars ever made, designed by great luthier James D’ Aquisto. Birch body and neck with fantastic ebony fretboard. Great condition , fully restored with new frets , everything works perfectly as it should (truss rod, electrics, etc), feels and plays like a dream ! Machine heads are original, but their tuning buttons are not. The bridge has also been replaced to a Gotoh tune o matic. The guitar has been professionally set up (to my personal preferences) with d'addario 11s , neck is absolutely straight, with low action. These Hagstrom pick ups sound fantastic ! Just plug this beauty to your amp and you will see what real jazz guitars sound like. The hard case included,is original Hagstrom, fits perfectly the guitar, and it is brand new . Very sad to let it go, but I'm not really a jazz player, plus I need to downsize my gear. Keep in mind, this is a very collectable item.
