Estimated price for orientation: 1 399 $
Category: Electric Guitar
Class:
Description Brand: Guild Dexterity: Right-Handed Body Type: Chambered Body Color: Cherry sunburst Model: Bluesbird Body Material: Solid Wood String Configuration: 6 String Model Year: 1997
Up for your consideration is my 1997 USA-made (Westerly, RI) Guild Bluesbird. The guitar has a light, chambered mahogany body and a slab maple top finished in a deep Cherry Sunburst. The guitar is all original with the exception of the nickel pickup covers which I have added as it originally came with open coil (black) humbuckers. The pickups are its originals, Seymour Duncan '59's. The finish and all hardware are in nearly new condition including the Grover tuners. The guitar plays and sounds great. The body does have the holes from the original pickguard which I removed, favoring the no-pickguard look with the awesome flamed top. I will include the original pickguard, bracket and screws. The case is the original Guild hardshell case and is in good condition, with a few scuffs and scratches from use.Guild Bluesbirds are very under-rated guitars and will hold their own with Les Pauls. They are very light in weight, well-balanced and comfortable to play. The Duncan 59 pickups are nice and trebly on the bridge setting and smooth & bluesy on the neck. Neck and bridge combined gives an almost acoustic tone and the independent volume and tone controls allow you to dial in your own tone. I have every confidence you will love this guitar.
