Up for sale is my 2003 Fender American Deluxe Strat in Montego Black (disregard the price tag picture that says 2002 - that was a mistake). First of all, for those who are not familiar with Montego Black, its a "light black" with an almost unnoticeable amount of sparkle. You have to look very close to see that its not just standard black. Condition: Listed as Very Good - guitar is in great shape with a few very small dings here and there. One ding on the end of headstock that is pictured. The rest of the minor blemishes are too hard to capture in photos, but you'll be pleased when you see it in person. Frets are in great shape and it plays effortlessly. I could list out all of the specs for this guitar, but that info is readily available. It is a 100% stock Fender American Deluxe model from 2003, so it has the SCN noiseless pickups, S-1 switching system, upgraded bridge/trem, contoured neck heel, abalone dot inlays, etc. These are truly great guitars and the deluxe upgrades really make a huge difference. In fact, if I had to only have one guitar on a desert island - it would definitely be an HSS American Deluxe Strat. You can cover so much ground with this guitar. The single coils have that classic bell-like tone with nice low-end response and great clarity. The humbucker is what I'd call hot-vintage voiced. It balances great with the neck & middle too. It pains me to sell this, but I just bought a guitar that I've always wanted and so I have to let go of a few to justify it. My loss is your gain. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have! The guitar will ship with a non-original (but nice) Road Runner hard case. I bought it used and never got the OHSC.
