VINTAGE HAWAIIAN KUMALAE UKULELE 1915Bears the mark "KUMALAE GOLD AWARD 1915. Size: 52cm x 16cm x 6cmSome touch up/polishing and refurbishing was done. Condition as seen in the photo pics. (Extra details: There is a number mark scribbled, probably a pencil mark. Refer to last picture. The number is difficult to decipher. Its either C0-290 or 10-290. )A Hard to find piece of the famous Kumalae hand made Ukulele that won a gold award in 1915s. History:This Ukulele belonged to my late uncle who was ardent photographer and musician who passed away in 1984.This item is believed to have been purchased sometime in the late 40s..It was only picked out recently in 2014 while clearing his home after many years of being stored away.Not knowing its intricate value, some refurbishing and touchup was done. Condition as seen in the photo pics
