Set is in fantastic shape for a 48 year old kit. I believe that this is a 1968 Slingerland No.9 Jazz Outfit due to the fact that the Set-O-Matic tom mount is aluminum and the drums have a "chocolate milk" colored interior. 20" bass drum, 14" floor tom and 12" mounted tom. Perfect jazz kit!I haven't owned these drums since new, but I can vouch for the fact that they have been treated very gently for the last 25 years or so.The wrap is in fantastic shape. All the seams are tight and there is hardly any yellowing. They have been in a climate controlled basement for the last 25 years and they haven't seen the sun.The bearing edges are in great shape. I have more pictures I can send to interested parties that show the inside of the shells and all the bearing edges. There are no issues there. No extra holes-with one exception. A Ludwig "L" shaped cymbal arm was added to the bass drum. The job was done cleanly and there are no ugly marks on the interior of the bass drum shell.The set will ship with brand new coated Ambassador heads for the tops and bottoms on the toms (I wanted to get the set listed, so the heads I have had on are there for the purposes of taking photos, but brand new heads for the toms have been ordered and will ship with the kit). The bass drum has the original logo head on the front and an Evans EQ4 head on the batter side. I have not done any polishing on the chrome at all-I have only wiped it down with a damp cloth. I am sure the chrome will clean up nicely as there is no rust. The hoop inlay on the batter side bass drum hoop is only half there. It's hard to see from the front of the kit. The Set-O-Matic mount holds firm as do the bass drum spurs and the floor tom legs. Comes with the original hi-hat stand (with clutch), snare stand and bass drum pedal.This kit isn't a museum piece, but it is a well-above average, relatively unmolested example of Slingerland drums from the company's heyday in a great color and in very desirable sized for the jazz drummer.
