I do not know when it was built. It has a detachable screw bell. This horn has a Knopf wrap like the current Alexander model 200. This horn is in very good condition. It is completely unlacquered. Horn was totally reconditioned by John Mason, a horn specialist in Los Angeles. All 4 valves were overhauled / replated, the leadpipe was replaced with a factory Alex 1103 gold brass lead pipe, and a couple of leaks were patched (see pictures). The horn is working well and has a nice mellow sound. All valves and slides are free and working. Valve compression is good.As an older instrument, it does show minor dings and scratches from years of use. No case is included. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Will be shipped via FedEx Ground or Home to the continental US.
