Airline - Barney Kessel SwingmasterVintage Guitar 1960sThis guitar is in good shape for its age, there are plenty of little scuffs, finish checking, and blemishes. But that lets you know that this is a players guitar, not just a collectors item!The truss rod was replaced and the guitar was refretted a few months ago, it plays like a dream. Due to the heat required to remove the fretboard some of the pearloid fret markers have burnt and discolored. The action is set low, with no fret buzzing. It can easily be set higher with the adjustable bridge if desired.The electronics work and are crackle-free. The selector knob does click through 360 degrees (its supposed to stop), but all 4 pickup selections work. The selections are Neck, Middle, Bridge, and what I'll call "combo". The "combo" selection is all 3 pickups, but they are out of phase, so it can yield some cool quacky sounds. These pickups sound awesome! Lots of power for single coils.All the hardware is original, including the cool knobs and Kluson tuners.There is green blemish on the finish where the bridge sat for a long time.This guitar will be professionally boxed, and ship with a gig bag.Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.Thanks for looking!
