Currency of this and all my sales is GBP £ Sterling you cannot purchase in any other currency!!!!Be sure to check out my new website atoyboyguitars for more details on me and more pics of this great item! This is a STUNNING vintage original 1974 Gibson ES-335 finished in desirable tobacco sunburst and with original hard case that is 100% original. Stunning example or a fairly rare finish ES-335 TD in near MINT condition, 100% original and including the original purple lined hard case. Astonding condition that looks just a few years old rater than 42 years. Zero finish checking and a bright, vibrant sunburst that is rare to see! This actually is tobacco sunburst which was rare for early 70's ES-335's and it has the sunburst finish extended to the sides and the back of the neck. Made in Kalamazoo before they switched over to Nashville, maybe they were trying to pull out some final stops before the switch over - a bit of one upmanship...? Whatever, you do not see many ES's with the sunburst detailed like this.Near MINT condition, there is just s small area of clearcoat flaked off by the neck heel and a slight scratch on the back of the neck. Apart from that it is amazing. Frets have plenty of life left and all electrics are totally undisturbed with all original pat number (sticker) pickups and pots dated 1974.Plays really well, nice fast action and is a good weight for a mid 70's Gibson. Many may say at Norlin standards slipped and yes, I have come across guitars where this could be said, but I can assure you this is not one of them and is as good as any late 60's ES-335.Please have a good look at the 20+ high resolution photos I have posted to fully appreciate the cool condition this beautiful guitar is inInspection is welcome, guitar is situated in Cheltenham.
