Original 1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard in rare factory Black finish with Patent No pickups in excellent plus condition. Unlike many this is not a converted Les Paul Deluxe but a rare factory Standard model with full size pickups and Standard truss rod cover. Ultra rare to begin with and even rarer in this colour with a one piece mahogany body, carved maple too, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and original chrome hardware. The guitar has been lightly played and the original frets are still in excellent condition. No repairs or issues. Low slinky action and a perfect neck angle on this one. Weighs under 10lbs which is pleasantly unusual for this period. Original hard shell Gibson Protector case and owners paperwork included. A real killer guitar.
