This is an exquisite instrument that has been painstakingly restored so that it plays perfectly upon opening. What Is Original? Pretty much evetything. This was a guitar I inherited but I still did my due dilligence to make sure it was authentic. NECK. Has 1969 green stamp. Because the frets were so bad I spent $500 to ship it out to Finger Lakes Guitar in Vermont. These guys do better fret work than anybody. With these new steel frets it not only feels like a new instrument off the rack, but these frets will out live you. You will never have to mess with your frets again. PICKGUARD: Original 1969 with pearl back. PICKUPS: Original 1969. Copper plated and grey bottomed bridge. They were a little scratchy so I sent them out to my pickup guy in Kentucky to do a $250 restore job. JM Rolph restored them to optimum performance/ 1969 specs. BRIDGE: 1969 TUNERS: 1969 KNOBS. 1969 POTS. Dated to 12th week of 1966 CONTROL PlATE: 1969 BODY: Original but its unclear if the olympic white finish is original. It has started to cheque yellow like YJM famous "duck" guitar which tells me it is old either way. Whats not original? SWITCH: My guitar tech said it was roached when we reinstalled the restored pickups but I will include it with sale if you want to try and bring it back to life. CASE: New Tweed Case STRING FERULES ON BACK: 90s Fender
