Gibson L-5s Sunburst (1975) used and RARE Rare is perhaps even more applicable to the solidbody L5S than to the L5 Archtop version. At the time back in the 70s next to the Archtop guitars the most expensive item on the price-list, hence the rarity of this guitar. This 1975 Gibson L5S features 3 tone sunburst and is not completely original, the rather fantastic looking and working Gibson Kahler tremolo (complete with original trem-arm)is although it is looking like it was original- not original to the guitar.. hence the lower price (Nomally sells between 5500€ and 7000€). This beautiful Queen of the solid body guitars however is otherwise in fine original condition, with flame maple top, mahogany body, original hardware and Pickups, good condition, no cracks, scale length 628mm, 43mm nut width, not too heavy, with original case. I think it's the first one in years we stock.. a rare find!
