Description

1966 Vintage Fender Esquire. This beautiful guitar is in Near Mint condition other than a Nitro Lacquer body only refinish by Fiesta Finishes™. All parts on the guitar are original, other than the pick guard, and some wiring. The finish on the neck, and the decal, tuners, etc. are all original. All chrome parts, bridge, knobs, control plate, are in pristine mint condition. Neck finish is in pristine original condition, with no wear. Very little fret wear on the original frets. This guitar can easily pass as an all original mint condition Esquire! (Note that Fender used the "spaghetti logo" on Esquires through 1966).The guitar featured a Tele conversion in the past, so there has been some rewiring back to Esquire specs. Also, newer style late 60's Fender tuners were installed for a period, and the original Double Line Klusons have been re-installled. Some small screw holes for the newer tuners have been filled, but these are invisible with the Klusons installed. The shaft holes are original and unaltered. The serial number is 201XXX, the neck date is FEB 66. Pots are 1966. The guitar weighs 7 lb. 10 oz. The nice, big, C shaped neck measures .876" at 1st fret and .890" at 12th fret. The original pickup measures 6.0K Ohms. The guitar ships in its original, "No Tail," black Tolex case which is in very good original condition. The guitar looks, sounds, and plays amazing. Highly recommended.Satisfaction guaranteed. Keep the guitar for 48 hours and if not fully satisfied, return for a full refund minus the shipping charge.
