50 years old Strat originally born in Candy apple red.
It was stripped and refin in grey metallic in the '80 (please, don't ask me why!) and recently restored in Candy apple red by the best Gord Miller...
Original CAR is still present into cavities (see pics about before and after refinish job).Has an extrascrew in back peghead used to keep a paper with chords written on it, 1st owner idea... Strange but true!
I left screw because it's a part of his history.
One of the nicest figured maple neck I ever had and saw in my life on a mid '60, all the parts of this guitar are the original from the original guitar born in '66.All the harness is unsoldered and original, the three pickups have very high output (all are 6kOhm more), very brilliant and killer blues sound (as Jimi's white '66 used in Electric Ladyland!).
ES stamped on body (mean Entered Special) means light and resonant selected Alder.Had recently a professionally refret job and renut to have a perfect action, the best "custom colour on original custom colour" vintage player ever!To hear it play click here-->
