Hard Tail EVH Wolfgang made by PeaveyThis is the original and top-of-the-line model. It was made in the USA probably between 1998 and 2001. It features an arched (carved) top, body binding, two knobs (volume and tone), three-way pickup toggle switch, two Peavey/EVH-designed humbucker pickups, bird's eye maple neck and fingerboard with dual graphite reinforcement rods, ten-degree tilt headstock, and Schaller mini M6 tuners with ivory colored buttons. This version has a solid basswood/maple cap. (The maple cap was 5/8" before carving.) This model comes with tune-o-matic bridge and a hard tail piece. Solid basswood/maple cap Wolfgangs were offered in various transparent figured maple finishes (sunburst, amber, red, purple, blue, green, cherryburst, and black cherryburst) as well as vintage gold and seafoam green.I am the second owner of this beautiful guitar. It's in excellent condition. The fretboard is birdseye maple and it is always unfinished on this model giving it outstanding playability in addition to great looks.
