Vintage '60s Telestar Hollowbody Electric, Made by Teisco in Japan, 100% Original, Rare!!!Today, we're very pleased to offer this Vintage '60s Telestar Hollowbody Electric Guitar! Made in the '60s by Teisco Japan. The exact year of manufacture is unknown, but this model was produced from 1966-1969. It shows noticeable wear one would expect with a vintage instrument, but is in overall very good cosmetic shape! The truss rod is non-functional and neck shows minor backbow near the neck joint. Despite this, it plays well with 1/32" string height at the 1st fret and 3/32" at the 12th. It also sounds great with its original single coil pickups! A very aesthetically pleasing guitar with a cool vintage vibe - TONS of mojo! We ask that you observe its pictures closely and invite you to contact us with any questions you may have at 1-850-457-7557.Please be advised that this guitar is being offered 'as is.'BODYThe body shows several noticeable, but normal scratches, dings and pressure dimples. A professionally repaired crack near the neck joint can also be detected, but it's very structurally sound. Pickguard is absent.NECKThe truss rod is non-functional and frets show noticable wear, but the guitar plays surprisingly well! The string height at the first fret is 1/32" (treble and bass side). String height at the 12th fret is 3/32" (treble and bass side). A few minor indentations can be detected on back of neck and on fingerboard. Normal scratches can be seen on top of headstock.
