The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Killer and affordable 1956 Fender Stratocaster in its original two tone sunburst finish over a nicely grained ash body. 2-56 pencil body date, XA-3-56 pencil neck date, pots are coded 304618 dating to the 18th week of 1956, nail holes present, chunky and perfect feeling neck profile. Original electronics, black bottom pickups, and bakelite plastic. Neck was resprayed some time ago and currently shows a good amount of play / finish wear. At the same time it was refretted with larger fret wire. One replaced saddle and missing back cover. Sporting a set of Kluson single line tuners. Wonderfully and lively guitar! Comes with a 60-62 brown Strat case.
