Specs below: The Fender Limited Edition American Standard offers the same great features that Stratocaster fans have come to know and love, combined with brand new features for 2015 including a black pickguard and solid Maple neck. This limited edition strat has a beautiful sandblasted sapphire blue transparent finish as well as all the acclaimed features, sound and style of the archetypal American Standard Stratocaster. The sandblasted finish is one of the most alluringly unusual treatments yet seen on a Fender instrument, leaving the grain pattern wonderfully textured with parallel ruts and grooves in which the black grain-filler coat shows beneath the blue finish coat. The guitar is also finely appointed with American Standard single-coil Stratocaster pickups, a "no-load" tone control for the middle and bridge pickups (bypasses tone control circuitry when turned all the way up), and much more.
