Lovely Hagstrom Swede, serial number 53 074213, confirmed by the factory as made in 1981. So its the real deal. Not a Chinese or Korean version!
It has the following mod! the neck has been glued and screwed for greater solidity. It works fine, amazing neck, slightly wider than a Les Paul, very fast and easy to play. They do have a great neck.
There is a small notch on the front to access the truss rod at the body end.
Thers is a tone knob missing and the usual pickup surrounds have broken like they all do. All these parts are still available from Hagstrom spares.
Every thing else is original and the pick ups do sound so good, no muddiness, bright and distinctive.
Easily sounded better than a 1974 Les Paul Custom that I had to sell, it was out classed.
A real vintage guitar, great player. Includes a light foam kinsman case for protection which fits perfectly. Thanks
