This guitar was built by GMW guitar works in Glendora California. It was built at the time that Lee Garver of GMW had just stopped building strat headstock necks. The neck as I remember was built by Warmoth and shipped directly to GMW so the guitar would have the Charvel strat head look. The neck is the perfect match for this guitar in my opinion with a great shape and is also a satin finished Birdseye maple with a perfect dark ebony fretboard. The body was made by GMW, and the Hot Rod Flame paint and satin finished neck were done by the great Dan Lawrence! The guitar has a real Floyd Rose and one volume and one tone control along with a Seymour Duncan pickup mounted directly to the body for maximum tone. The guitar has a great weight to it! Not heavy at all on the light side actually, just right. This guitar is in unplayed condition and a true custom shop guitar. Comes in SKB case as shown in pictures.
